Here is how it works!

Internet Data eXchange (IDX) is the area's MLS, online. In the Denver, CO area, listing information is handled by Metrolist, Inc., who reports that nearly 98% of all MLS data is available through IDX.

To take advantage of IDX, you must contact Metrolist and sign their IDX Agreement. On that agreement they will ask how you want to access the IDX Database. You should select the IDX Database Link option. After you have sigend the IDX Agreement with Metrolist, they enter your Office and Agent ID into their special access database. This gives you the right to show IDX data on your web site.

Next, you should sign up for PowerSearchDenver. We will help you create an agent branded framing structure to properly show a live feed of IDX data. This framing structure is a good way to utilize IDX data as there is little overhead. The delivery and presentation of large volumes of data to the browser window is handled efficiently by the Metrolist servers - not your web server.

When you add PowerSearchDenver to the IDX data stream, magic begins to happen. Potential clients and referrrals alike will gladly click on the PowerSearh (property search) link and sign up for an account through your web site, for the privlige of searching the largest and most up-to-date local area listings database.
